What have you learned today that will make you more valuable to others?

In this day and age, the demand for skilled leaders is so great, one wonders what they should do or where they should go to aquire the skill sets necessary to be of any use to their prospects.

You can't just get on the train and start conducting it. For every skilled trade, what is required of you is more than just theory. You have to start getting your hands dirty because without the field experience, you are nothing but a no-mind with a bunch of levers and buttons. What's even scarier is that you also have the power over other people's lives who put their faith in you and your skills.

This is the same with internet marketing. People put their faith in you when they sign up for a service you are providing or even with a product you endorse. They believe they will get what they want and they are taking your hand with the expectation that you will take them where they want to go.

This is why there are apprentices (the student) and journeymen (the teacher). Without the people around who know what they are doing, the apprentices will stay undereducated about their profession.

Have you ever encountered someone in their job who seemed unsure or under practiced? You can spot these people from a mile away, and they seem to crack even more at the added pressure of just knowing that you know this about them. They need people who have patience, not who are just going to rush them along to get through the material without stopping to ask them if they understand what they are learning...

How do you expect anyone to get by in the world of internet marketing or top tier direct sales without a little help from the finest in their industry? The apprentices will eventually try to pass the class without being taught how to do it and then will just end up with an imaginary piece of paper that entitles them to nothing. Apprentices and new internet marketers alike all need some guidance.

This is why there are books and other training materials to get you jump started in working towards your goal of being valuable to other people, to make them want to work with you.

I have just ordered 3 books to help me in my personal journey in becoming a great copywriter. They are as follows: The Ultimate Sales Letter by Dan Kennedy, Hypnotic Writing: How to Seduce and Persuade Customers with Only Your Words by Joe Vitale, and The Adweek Copywriting Handbook by Joseph Sugarman.

Just one of the things I have learned today is how to anchor links involving my name on one site to direct to other websites to take up not one but two spots on google. That was informative in nature and new to me :)

Here is a quote from Charles W. Chesnutt that I like: Impossibilities are merely things which we have not yet learned.

So again I ask you, what have you learned today that makes you more valuable to your potential prospects?
